Collaboration:
The new cross-functional collaboration requirements of modern data analytics initiatives are fully supported in this course with collaborative workspaces and team exercises. The course has a mixture of business content, data content and a collaborative project to ensure worthwhile learnings for both business and technical participants. Both groups get value from using a common framework and understanding of data.
Tailored Content:
The course is reinforced with real business cases and use case project work to demonstrate the importance of collaboration across the organisation. The development framework combines classic data mining with Lean Sigma methods. It is conducted by industry professionals in data and analytics architectures and solutions from different vertical markets such as Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Finance, and retail, among others.
Duration
3 days effort over 3 weeks. Attendance at 7 online lectures of 60 to 90 minutes each in week one. 16 hours non-contact time to complete course project over following 2 weeks, with 3 master online mentoring sessions of one hour each in those following 2 weeks with online presentation of project results to class at end of course.
